Workshop Leader: Stacie N. Berdan
Stacie Berdan is an international careers expert and award-winning author. She has worked in more than 50 countries and continues to counsel companies on global issues. She spends a great deal of her time speaking on college campuses where her advice on global careers has been characterized as “engaging, insightful, inspirational and authentic” by professionals, campus counselors and students alike. Workshop Details:
Increase your odds of going global and further develop your global mindset. Learn how to:
• Acquire and package your international skills in order to apply them to current global business
trends and needs of potential employers.
• Devise a strategy for an international job search, doing the appropriate research and networking.
• Identify high-growth sectors, industries, markets and organizations that are “hot” right now.
• Brand yourself in your resumes and cover letters and use social media for the international job
search.
The workshop is open to up to 30 GW graduate students. All attendees will receive a free copy of Berdan's "Go Global! Launching an International Career Here or Abroad".
